About JumboVote
JumboVote is a nonpartisan organization at Tufts University dedicated to promoting civic engagement and voter turnout. JumboVote is affiliated with the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life and the Andrew Goodman Foundation. Our goal is to equip and empower students to participate in our democracy on Election Day and beyond.
From 2014 to 2018, Tufts students more than doubled their midterm voter turnout rate. In 2022, JumboVote is working to achieve another large increase in student participation.
Non-partisan Statement
JumboVote is a nonpartisan organization; nonpartisanship guides our interactions with students, faculty, administrators, community members, and other organizations alike. We do not support nor oppose any candidate or political party. Through our partnerships with the Andrew Goodman Foundation and the Tisch College of Civic Life, JumboVote centers voter education and engagement without the belief that political equals partisanship. This foundation enables JumboVote to facilitate greater civic participation across Tufts’ campuses, creating a stronger, more inclusive and representative democracy.
